My 2012 New Years Resolution was to finally purchase a black leather jacket… I think I’ve found it in this men’s Vintaged Horsehide Perfecto Asymmetrical Motorcycle Jacket by Schott NYC. I’ll be in Las Vegas in February at the Workroom Show and will have a chance to meet with them, see the line and if it all works out write an order with a single unit of this for myself.
Wrote a Winter 12 Filson reorder today for Still Life. Added an extra of the Small Tin Cloth Duffle Bag on for myself to replace my long lost Dunderdon Canvas Duffle that was stolen in July. Last week’s arrival of my new Passport and the purchase of this bag finishes the sad task of replacing my nice things that were lost in YVR Airport…
Now if only all my rolls of film from the Mexican Vacation somehow turn up processed, scanned & tagged on Facebook I would be the happiest guy on the planet.
Watching my pals surfing at Jordan River this weekend! Had Saturday off for the first time in ages so we loaded up the van and headed out. Beautiful drive, gorgeous scenery, fantastic day. Made the most of my nice wet-weather gear from my Native Boots and Cozy Happy Socks to my Hill-Side Scarf and Waxed Bridge & Burn Coat.
I went surfing at Jordan River this weekend! Had Saturday off for the first time in ages so we loaded up the van and headed out. By the time I got out it was pretty mellow on the old Pacific Ocean but I tried my best to cowabunga and I did the hang sign thing with the pinky and the thumb!
Super stoked to get to work today and see DS & Durga Colognes finally arrived at Still Life. I will smell like Boston Ivy for the rest of my days: A memory of Boston in the ’80s. Where green moss & ivy grew next to I.R.A. graffiti and fresh clover was salted by the sea.
